Sooo.... first of all, may I wish you all a VERY HAPPY 2011!!!!! Let's see what awaits for us this year...
2010 didn't end so well for me, as I have been ill with fever and whatnot. I still don't feel 100%, so I went to the doctor today and it turns out I have to take some antibiotics. Oh well, as long as I finally get better!
Ok then, back to crafts. I've been quite busy in the interims when the fever would allow my brain to work for a while, preparing the Christmas presents. As soon as I get the photos that the... photographer took, I will upload them to the blog.
In the meantime, much as I love Christmas, I have to admit that I was looking forward to doing a card with a different theme and different colours. So I took a look at the current challenges and found some amazing inspiration as always. So, this is what I came up with at the end (apologies for the really bad quality of the photo, but once again I cannot find the charger for my camera, so I had to use my mobile phone... :S):
I would like to participate to the following challenges:
-
Passion for ProMarkers #81 - Thank you theme
-
Just Magnolia #87- Anything goes (requires a Magnolia or Hanglar & Stanglar stamp)
-
All sorts challenge #84 - Thank you theme
-
Paper Sundaes - Something new (the Magnolia stamp I used is a new one I bought a few days ago)
-
Papertake - Anything goes
-
Fab'n'funky # 54 - Anything goes
-
Phindy's Place #36 - Thank you theme
The sketch I used is from the
ABC challenge... I loved the sketch, but as I was about to submit my card, I realised that I hadn't followed the L for lace requirement... oh well...
