We have a new challenge over at Addicted to CAS, this time chose by Karena and the code word is Take flight.
The card that I made:
Favourite Paper Smooches stamps and favourite paper piecing ;)
I stamped the wings three times on vellum paper without re-inking the stamp to give some dimension:
Actually this is the second card that I made. As soon as I made the first card I realised it had a similar concept to another DT card, so I kept the same idea and changed the icons ;) The first one is the following:
And I wanted to share this card with you because I made it for my godchild Nikolas - the older one, obviously, who just finished high school and based on the first results of his exams, he's going to be a student starting this fall!!! And it looks like at the same university as the one that I studied... I'm so, soooo happy and so proud of him!
Oh, and a closer photo to show the dimension of the clouds:
So come over at Addicted to CAS
for inspiration from the design team and to play with us. A lucky winner will get 4 images of her choice from Delicious Doodles!!!

Anastasia

Scrapbookers in Greece - Favourite habit
Good morning!
A really quick post today... there's too much work!!!
So today we have the June challenge for Scrapbookers in Greece. The theme this month is about one of our favourite habits. I liked it very much...
My layout:
...We are already in mid June and the weather is quite warm already... but I chose a winter habit of mine. Taking a 20-30 minutes power nap on my sofa, with my favourite blanket and my three cats on or next to me (usually on me! Yes, all three of them!)... such a delight!
The photo was taken just after I woke up from one of my power naps... the cats wouldn't leave the blanket ;)
So come over at Scrapbookers in Greece to see their gorgeous creations, find out about their favourite habits and play with us! The winner will get a really nice gift!
...And don't forget to vote your favourite creation for May! You can do so with the famous blue frog links on the right of the blog. Voting has already started!
Hugs,
Anastasia

The Studio Challenges - Lift Chain blog hop!
Good morning!
Today we have something different over at the The Studio Challenges. The design team has done a "lift chain", which means that each member scraplifted a layout received from the previous member... so today we have a blog hop in the order of the lift chain!
It is really very interesting to see where the lift chain started from, how it continued and where it ended... Now, you should have come from Katherine and this is the layout that I made by scraplifting her layout:
As I usually do, I kept many of the elements the same. First of all, I followed closely Katherine's sketch - using two photos, the title placement, the placement of the main embellishments. I even copied some of the details, like the banners with the start button on the top left side and the negative die cuts on the left and under the photos - only Katherine had starts and I used hearts. At the end I couldn't resist and I added my favourite enamel dots, arrows, stamps and rub-ons ;)
You can scraplift any of the blog hop layouts you want and you can link up your creations at the side bar of The Studio blog (link) for a chance to win a great prize from chipboard company Tando!
Please hop on to Petra's blog for the next lift and see how my layout has inspired her!
I hope you like it and that our layouts inspire you! We are waiting to see what you will make!
Hugs,
Anastasia

Addicted to CAS #15 - Teenager
Good morning!!!
Another lovely Saturday has started and with it a new challenge over at Addicted to CAS! The code word for this challenge was chosen by Vicki and it is "Teenager"
The truth is that at the beginning I didn't know what to make as I don't have anything in my stash that could be suitable for this theme. Then I remember a stamp set that I have with expressions that teenagers tend to use (and not only teenagers!). So the card that I made:
And the code word:
Our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps and They are generously offering you a pack of 7 digi's from their store!
So come over at Addicted to CAS to see how the design team has used the code word and to play with us!
Hope you like it,

Get Creative June Challenge
Good morning!
Another layout for today. This time it is for the Get Creative June challenge that asks us to create a layout based on a colour combo.
The layout is dedicated to all the amazing friends I have met through our hobby these last few years. I have chosen a number of key phrases that I remember from the last crop in Thessaloniki a few days ago:
And the colour combo:
...I won't explain what the phrases mean - I mean even if I translated them in English, I would have to explain the story behind them to understand as well. All I want to say is that every time I go to Thessaloniki for a crop, I return oh so happy... and full of their unbelievably amazing food! lol!
My friends, thank you very much for your priceless company! I love you and I'm looking forward to seeing you again!!!
So, come over at Get Creative to see how the DT members have used the colour combo and to play along with us!
I hope you like it,
Hugs,

The Studio Challenges - News!
Hello again!
As usual, at the beginning of the month one post comes after the other ;)
So, today I want to share with you some news that made me really happy and many of you already know: I have become a member of The Studio Challenges design team!!! Oh yesss!!!!
I was sooo happy because this challenge blog was one of the first that I was following when I started with scrapbooking and I have always admired the creations of the design team!
So today is my first layout as a DT member. The challenge is to use stitching on our layout - can be hand stitching or machine stitching. I went for both:
For the first time I used hand stitching to make the title. First I wrote the title with a pencil, I pierced the paper tracing the letters, erased the pencil and the used some yarn to stitch the title. I went for the yarn because I wanted to make the title a bit bolder.
And of course I couldn't resist using my sewing machine as well. I stitched the subtitle and the frame around the layout.
...After destroying a considerable number of papers, I think I've started learning the techniques with water-based colours and lots and lots of water. For this layout I wanted to use intense colours, so I reached to my Dylusions mists. A closer photo to see the result:
I liked it quite a lot and I think I'm going to repeat it!
So that's all for today... Come over at The Studio Challenges to see what the DT has stitched and to play with us!
Hope you like it,
Hugs,
Anastasia

Addicted to CAS #14 - Circles
Good morning and good month!
Oh yes, back to cards finally! It's been a months since the last time I shared a card with you... But today we have a new challenge over at Addicted to CAS and today it's our super talented, super chic, super loved Marie who has chosen the word... Κύκλοι!!!
The card that I made:
I'll never get bored of these Lawn Fawn papers... Flairs are one of my favourite scrapbooking materials, so I thought I could use one on my cards as well. The "don't worry" on the ribbon is "written" with rub-on letters - I just love rub-ons, we can use them everywhere!
As usually I wanted to give some dimension to the card, so I used foam adhesive between the circles. A close-up photo to give you a better idea:
I hope you like it!
Circles can be a bit challenging for many of us (including me!), so I do urge you to come over at Addicted to CAS to get amazing inspiration from the design team - and of course to play with us. Our sponsor for this challenge is Paper Makeup and they are offering a a $15 voucher towards a digi purchase in the store:
I hope you like it!
